Barcelona Culture

Having fun in Barcelona is unavoidable. The city has an active cultural life, with the city government (Ajuntament) and Catalan government (Generalitat) continually organizing and sponsoring exhibitions, concerts and other events, many of them for free. The "Guia del Ocio" is a small weekly leisure guide published every Thursday. It lists films (and the language in which they are shown), theaters, concerts, restaurants, bars, TV schedule, etc. It is available at most kiosks for 1euro.
